Greek style grilled chicken salad recipe

- Ingredients (grilled chicken)
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 large clove garlic, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Ingredients (salad):
- Mixed greens (red or green leaf lettuce, Oakleaf, baby spinach, Boston or other)
- red onions
- green apple
- feta cheese
- grilled chicken
- flavoured nut or olive oil or dressing of your choice
- salt and ground pepper
- fresh basil leaves
Preparation (grilled chicken): Mix all ingredients and let marinate for 4 to 6 hours. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 45-60 min. (depending on the size of chicken breasts). This marinade really makes the chicken very tender.
Preparation (salad): Put your salad mixture on a plate and alternatively add all the vegetables/fruits.
Slice your chicken breasts into thin strips and place around your plate. Top with a little nut oil or your favourite dressing. Garnish with basil leaves. Delicious salad.
